Description
A panoramic of a dramatic sunset over the Pacific Ocean. To the side is Oregon's famous Heceta Head Lighthouse, one of the most photographed in the country due to its dramatic position on a cliff.
It had rained all day and I wasn't sure how the evening would turn out. I headed out to the coast hoping for the best. The skies started to clear from the west just before the sunset creating the drama that is seen. Later I found out that just north and south of where I was, it was still raining. It seemed as if this dramatic sky was reserved just for me.
