Description
A view of the Marina Towers from the 71 st floor of Chicago Aon Center. Completed in 1973, the Aon Center (initially known as the Standard Oil Building) stands at a height of 1.136 feet making it Chicago's third tallest building. In the foreground is the slanted top of the 995 foot high Two Prudential Plaza. The view looks out at the iconic Marina City complex. Completed in 1964, the complex consists of two 587 foot high towers. The gold color topped structure is the art deco Carbide and Carbon building completed in 1929.
